Installing KeyEcho or buying a sound pack means you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.

1. What KeyEcho is
KeyEcho is a desktop app that plays a keyboard sound on each keystroke. The app is free and open source under the AGPL-3.0 licence at github.com/ZacharyL2/KeyEcho, and every free sound pack costs nothing. Crafted sound packs are paid content unlocked by a license key. There is no account and no subscription.
2. Who sells what
- WaveApp LLC makes KeyEcho, produces the sound packs, issues the license key and licenses the packs to you.
- A purchase is sold through Link, LLC under Stripe Managed Payments, which is the merchant of record for the payment. Any tax is shown on the checkout screen. Refunds follow the refund page.
3. Your licence
- The app: the AGPL-3.0 licence governs the app's source code and binaries; these terms add nothing to it.
- The sound packs: you may use a pack you bought on the computers you own or control, for your own listening. The packs are licensed, not sold, and we keep every right in them. You must not share, resell, re-upload or redistribute a pack or your key, because the key unlocks the packs for anyone who holds it. You must not use KeyEcho to break the law.
4. Paying
- The app and the free packs cost nothing and need no key.
- A Crafted Pack costs $3.99. All Sounds Forever costs $9.99 and unlocks every paid pack available now plus every official Crafted Pack first released later.
- Both are one-time purchases with no subscription or trial.
- Existing Pick 5 and Pick 10 keys keep their selected packs. Valid purchases that predate this version also receive All Sounds Forever without changing the original order record.
- The price on the checkout screen, in your currency and with any tax, is the one that counts.
- Your key arrives by email and on the success page, works offline, and can be resent from the restore form. It encodes your email address; keep it private.
5. Changes and availability
We will change the app, the catalog and the prices between releases. We do not promise that the app is free of defects or always available, and a pack can sound different on a given keyboard or speaker.
6. Ending
You can stop using KeyEcho at any time and delete the app and its packs. A purchase you already made stays under the refund page's rules.
7. Warranty
KeyEcho and its packs are provided as is. Where the law gives you a warranty we cannot exclude, that warranty stands.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, WaveApp LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for anything connected to KeyEcho is limited to what you paid for packs in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not let us limit.
9. Law and disputes
These terms follow the law of the State of Wyoming, United States. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections and courts of the place where you live still apply. Write to hi@keyecho.app first; most problems are settled by email.
10. Changes to these terms
We update this page before a material change takes effect and say so in this list. If one clause cannot be enforced, the rest stand.
