Heritage Board No.5 breaks from its siblings with the tightest, driest hit in the vintage series. Its press is short and clipped — around thirty-five milliseconds — landing as a quick, percussive tap with almost no lingering body, while the release tail actually rings a touch longer than the press itself. That gives it a snappy, old-school feel, closer to a stiff typewriter-era board than the rounder knock of the earlier numbers.
