Speed Thock Red

Speed Thock Red is the smooth, poured-concrete sound of a linear switch: no click, no tactile bump, just a full-bodied thock recorded from a Cherry MX Red board on PBT keycaps. The press has real weight — a rounded low-mid body running up to about a hundred and fifty milliseconds — followed by a quick, tight release so rapid typing never smears together. Press and release are separate samples, so bottoming out and letting go each have their own voice. Shipped 48 kHz stereo lossless. Captured by robrustdev in the open-source SpeedThock project.
